In the first round of the 2025 Australian Open women's singles, Chinese player Yuan Yue was defeated by Russian star Pavlyuchenkova with a score of 4-6, 6-4, 3-6. Unfortunately, she was eliminated in the first round, marking her third consecutive early exit at the Australian Open.
