Xu Shixiao and Sun Mengya claimed the gold medal once again in the women's double canoe 500m event at the Paris Olympics. In doing so, they matched a remarkable achievement set by legends Meng Guanliang and Yang Wenjun 16 years ago—successfully defending their Olympic title.
