Tragic incident of a Chinesebadminton player

The Badminton Asia Confederation and the Badminton Association of Indonesia announced that 17-year-old Chinese badminton player Zhang Zhijie suddenly collapsed during a mixed team group match at the 2024 BNI Badminton Asia Junior Championships in Indonesia. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Zhang Zhijie passed away due to unsuccessful emergency treatment.
