China in the Asian Cup: 2nd oldest

In the rankings of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup average age, China is ranked 2nd oldest: 29.7 year-old, just younger than Kyrgyzstan. There are a couple of players born in the 1980s in the squad (Wu Xi, Zhang Linpeng, Wang Dalei, etc). Most key players are in their 30s.
